  3. (Recommended) Enable Encryption and save the generated Recovery Key securely.

About the .dnote Format

The .dnote format is DulyNote's portable archive format. It is a structured package that includes:

  • All collection metadata (titles, tags, timestamps)
  • All linked URLs with their saved metadata
  • All attached files and media
  • A digital signature for integrity verification
  • Optional AES-256-GCM encryption layer
⚠️ Important Store your Recovery Key in a secure location such as a password manager. DulyNote cannot recover it for you — it is never transmitted to or stored on any server.
