To retain an item from your Inbox for long-term use, you can move it to your Owned collection using a process called Replication.
How to Save an Item
- Open the item in your Inbox.
- Select Save to My Collection.
- Apply the appropriate Tags.
- Select Confirm.
What Happens When You Save
When an item is saved, DulyNote creates a replicated copy with the following characteristics:
- New Ownership: The replicated item is re-signed with your device's signer ID, making it Owned.
- Source Tag: The item retains a [From: Collection Name] tag for reference.
- Independent Copy: The replicated item is fully independent — changes to the original Inbox item do not affect it.
- Full Metadata: All metadata (title, description, thumbnail, tags) is preserved in the copy.
💡 Tip
You can save individual items or entire collections from the Inbox. Use the Select All option to replicate an entire shared collection at once.
